    Besides using gasoline for the beetles, I’ve also seen vegetable oil used effectively. A gardener friend uses soapy water.

    i do have a jap b. control……buy all your neighbors traps, your garden will be free

      HA! Excellent idea, Ms. Phillips. And I generally throw all my garden crap over the fence too…I figure it makes compost for my neighbors.
